AUSTIN, TEXAS: Nicki Minaj is once again speaking publicly about her support for President Donald Trump, saying she will not make excuses for her feelings toward him.
The rapper made the comments while discussing her role as a celebrity judge on the Trump administration’s Million Dollar Pitch Competition.
During the September 18 broadcast of The Ingraham Angle on Fox News, Minaj, 43, spoke about the competition before discussing her views on Trump.
The competition is part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Freedom 250 initiative. Five entrepreneurs were selected to compete for a total of $1 million in cash prizes, with the live finale held in Washington, D.C., on September 18. Minaj served as one of the celebrity judges alongside Grant Cardone and Joe Gebbia, with Dean Cain serving as host.
During the interview, Minaj praised the competition’s focus on small businesses, describing them as “the heart of the country.” She also said she feels a personal connection with Trump and reiterated that she would not apologize for supporting him.

Minaj also said the event demonstrated that entrepreneurs did not need to be “a huge household name” to receive recognition from the president.

Minaj then made her feelings about Trump clear.
“I just love him. I’m not going to ever make excuses for that, because I don’t know why I should,” she said.
