WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made a passionate appeal to voters during a recent appearance on Sean Hannity, framing the upcoming November midterm elections as a pivotal moment for the country.
Leavitt urged conservative supporters to remain active on the campaign trail, emphasizing that the forthcoming vote will be far more consequential than a typical congressional election. “In 47 days, every single person watching your program and every single common-sense, good, hardworking American across this country has a choice to make,” Leavitt said. “And the 47th President of the United States needs you—and again, every common-sense American across the country tonight—to get out and vote. Because these are indeed the most important midterm elections in the history of our country.”
She added that the upcoming months will decide whether the United States remains the beacon of hope and freedom it purports to be.
“America truly is at a crossroads. Do we want to continue to be a country that embraces common sense under President Trump and Republicans—with secure borders, strong support for our police, and the largest middle-class tax cuts in American history that put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of hardworking Americans—or do we want to become a country that no longer recognizes itself?” she asked. “Because that is what the Democrats want to do. They want to fundamentally change America. They want to destroy America.”
Leavitt framed the choices in the upcoming election as a stark contrast between “the American dream” and “the al-Qaeda lifestyle.”
She also called out political commentator and Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who faced widespread criticism for past comments comparing American foreign policy to the terrorist group’s ideology. Leavitt suggested that figures like Piker are beginning to define the identity of the modern Democratic Party.
“Just listen to the words of Hasan Piker, as you played them,” Leavitt said. “Here is a voice Democrats wanted as a spokesperson, who compared America to al-Qaeda. That is a horrific statement to make, yet it sits at the core of the modern, radical far-left Democratic Party.”

Leavitt concluded her remarks by addressing voters who may be hesitant about aspects of Trump’s record, urging them to focus on the administration’s broader accomplishments rather than minor missteps.
“Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good,” she said. “President Trump has done so much good for our country and our people over the past two years: the largest middle-class tax cuts in history and the most secure border in history. Every single day, violent criminals are being deported from our streets and communities, and fentanyl deaths are down thanks to this president’s strong law-and-order policies.”
